WASHINGTON — Fear of an influenza pandemic has increased sales of anti-virals in recent months, but typical annual use of the drugs — which consists predominantly of Roche’s Tamiflu and GlaxoSmithKline’s Relenza — will remain nearly flat over the next decade, according to a report from an analyst firm released Tuesday.

The Ministry of Health in Indonesia has confirmed an additional case of human infection with the H5N1 avian influenza virus. The case, which was fatal, occurred in a 20-month-old girl who resided in Kapuk, West Jakarta.
